My
work is my attempt to articulate most clearly my desire to help all people
achieve self-expression. Every person has an intrinsic need to communicate
to the world their inner values and aspirations, thereby expressing their
unique creativity. Often people feel incapable of communicating their ideas
because a few methods of expression, generally those that are most common,
are non-functional for them. I have striven to provide the opportunity for
such individuals to realize alternative, aesthetic means of presenting their
capability to the society in which they are a member; thus gaining personal
fulfillment and visual evidence of potential they never imagined they possessed.
It is this aspiration that has been the great focus of my artisitic development.

This facet of its name seems ironically fitting, in light of the history
of this small town of 7,600 inhabitants, nestled in the hills of Umbria,
in central Italy.
