Theatre Arts Alumni
Here’s what some of our recent alumni have been doing since their time on the Owen Theatre stage:
Mackenzie Knapp (2009)
After graduation, Mac played two leading roles in SART’s acclaimed productions of Death of A Salesman and Brighton Beach Memoirs. In the fall of 2009 he was accepted into The New School (newschool.edu/drama/), a graduate school conservatory in New York City,
Mary Kathryn Lyerly (2007)
MK Interned at The Flat Rock Playhouse, the State Theatre of North Carolina. Played lead roles at The Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre. She is currently starring in a Musical Revue aboard "The Voyage", a prestigious Cruise Ship from PGT Enterprises.
Chelsey Gaddy (2006)
Chelsey last appeared at SART in 2008’s EVITA. She was accepted into the MFA program in acting at Florida Atlantic University and will graduate in May, 2010. Her internship was done at The Burning Coal Theatre in North Carolina and she is currently performing at Dollywood.
Laura Nell Dubuisson (2006)
Laura, also an alumna of SART, graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She is currently starring in a musical revue on a cruise ship for Carnival Cruise Lines.
Aimee Bohner (2008)
Aimee is currently a performer at The Holy Land Experience, Orlando, FL.
Ashely Manning (2009)
After graduation, Ashley played Blanche in SART’s Brighton Beach Memoirs. In fall of 2010,she begins graduate school at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.
Amanda returned to SART in the summer of 2010 to play in the Regional Premiere of the hit comedy TRADIN’ PAINT.
