Theatre Arts Department
The following degrees are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST)
Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre
The purposes of the theatre department programs are:
- to prepare students for careers in the field (Graduate School, Educational Theatre, and Professional Theatre);
- to provide opportunities for the non-major to participate in theatre activities, fulfilling in part the function of a liberal arts college;
- to provide cultural experiences for the campus and community;
- to complement and supplement the work of other departments in the college.
