This daylong street festival celebrates regional music arts and crafts and other entertainment. This is one of the oldest festivals of its kind and the festival and concert are popular events within the local community.
The Madison County Heritage Festival will be held on the campus of Mars Hill College and in downtown Mars Hill on October 6th 2007, from 10 am till 4 pm. This festival is free and open to students and the public. The quad will hold traditional artisans, musicians, craftspeople, and demonstrators and is coordinated through the Liston B. Ramsey Center for Regional Studies.
Please contact Karen Paar
(689-1262) if you or someone you
know is a traditional craftsperson,
artisan, musician, or demonstrator,
and would be interested in participating
in the festival, or if you have
any questions about the day's
