| Public School Field Trips |

Each
year, public schools from across
western North Carolina visit the
Liston B. Ramsey Center for Regional
Studies, to tour the Rural Life
Museum, have a clogging lesson,
and learn about the heritage,
history, and culture of the region.
Field trips are tailored to meet
the specific requests of the contact
teacher, and best fit the North
Carolina History requirements
for the 4th and 8th grades. There
is no charge for the field trip,
except for lunch. The cafeteria
requires that they receive payment
in either cash or check for the
