Wild Bodema Drummers To Perform
The Wild Bodema Drummers will perform for and with students on the campus of Mars Hill College on March 21, beginning at 12 noon in Ellen Amphitheatre, in front of Pittman Dining Hall.
Wild Bodema, or Wild Women who Drum, is a community of women who celebrate the ancient wisdom of feminine circles through the rhythms of African drumming. Rain location for the event is Broyhill Chapel.
The drummers’ visit to campus is sponsored by the Mars Hill College Visiting Artists and Lecturers Committee, Social Work Program, and Women’s Studies Program. It is free and open to the public.
