Spring Concerts
Mars Hill College is hosting two very special concerts this spring. Both will be held in Moore Auditorium. First up is the North Carolina Symphony, performing on the college campus for the first time in more than 30 years. Read more about that April 25th concert, which is a fundraiser for MHC’s fine arts programs.
Then on May 20th, the Ramsey Center for Regional Studies, in partnership with the Madison County Arts Council, presents “Heritage Comes Home,” a one-night-only concert featuring Bryan Sutton, Jerry Douglas, Tim O’Brien, Dennis Crouch, and Casey Driessen. The concert will benefit the Bascom Lamar Lunsford Collection and the Southern Appalachian Archives in the Ramsey Center’s efforts to preserve the rich musical culture of Madison County. More information about that concert is on the Ramsey Center page.
