MHC Cosponsors Adrian Grenier Film Event
Mars Hill College and UNC-Asheville are co-hosting a fun and educational event and you are invited. Saturday, September 24th, at 6:30 pm, Adrian Grenier, a television/film star best known for his lead role on the television series "Entourage," will show his new documentary film Teenage Paparazzo. A question and answer session and an art reception with the filmmaker will follow.
The documentary explores America’s fixation on celebrity, particularly how it relates to our personal and public identities, sense of self, and relationships. The film raises pertinent questions about why and how people consume popular culture and new media technologies. The event will take place at UNCA’s Lipinsky Hall and is open to the public. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
Tickets for MHC students, faculty, and staff and are available until Friday, September 23, in the LifeWorks office, in Marshbanks Hall. Students may pick up one ticket each and faculty and staff may pick up two tickets. Pick your tickets up as soon as possible as they will be available on a first come, first receive basis. Buses will be provided for students who desire transportation to and from the event.
