Bailey Mountain Cloggers Plan Silent Auction and Performance
The public is invited to attend a silent auction and performance of Mars Hill College’s national champion Bailey Mountain Cloggers on Saturday, December 1, 2012, in Moore Auditorium on the Mars Hill College campus.
Having recently achieved their 20th national championship title from the American Clogging Hall of Fame, the BMC clogging team has become famous for its lively, dynamic and skilled dance routines.
The funds raised through the silent auction and performance support the team’s efforts to teach local school children about our rich Southern Appalachian dance heritage. Additionally, the funds sustain the group’s ability to tour nationally and internationally, creating bonds of friendship, cultural understanding, and community.
The silent auction will feature vacation packages, spa treatments, restaurant passes, and much more. Viewing begins at 2 pm, and the performance will begin at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $5.00.
