A $100 deposit must accompany the camp registration form. The full balance is due by May 31, 2013. Make checks payable to MHC Summer Music Camp. We also take MasterCard and VISA. We encourage you to apply early, as space is limited in the dormitories. Early registration is especially important if you play a popular instrument such as flute, trumpet, or saxophone.
Private Lessons
One of the most important parts of a student’s summer music camp experience is the private one-on-one lesson from a professional who is an expert on a particular musical instrument.
Our tutors are skilled professional performers from the region and many of the teachers are music educators in our public schools or members of the Mars Hill College faculty.
Thirty-minute or one-hour private lessons will be available for students as an option at modest cost. Private lessons will be available for all band and orchestra instruments.
The fee for a half-hour lesson is $20, while the one-hour lesson (limited to students in grades 8-12) is $40.
