Mars Hill College, the office of Conferences and Events and the Mars Hill College Music Department are proud to present the 2013 Summer Music Camp at Mars Hill College, June 23-28, 2013.
Application for admission will begin in February 1, 2013, and will end on May 31, 2013.
Music Camp is a great learning opportunity for middle and high school students. The Mars Hill College Summer Music Camp affords students the opportunity to learn under music faculty from Mars Hill College, regional public schools, and from across the southeast.
The beautifully landscaped campus of Mars Hill College is the perfect setting for a week of music study, practice, rehearsal, and performance. Many of the mountain region’s top conductors, music educators, and performers will serve on the faculty. Our administrative staff and camp counselors will supervise a number of enjoyable co-curricular opportunities. Family members and friends of the student musicians are welcome to attend a Friday afternoon concert in Moore Auditorium.

- High School String Ensemble

- High School Jazz Band
- Middle School Jazz Band
- Beginning Music Theory
- Advanced Music Theory
- Jazz Improvisation
- Conducting
- Master classes on all of the instruments
- Double Reed Making Class
