  1. Although academic and athletic scholarships are available to International Students, there is no Federal aid available.
  2. All students are required to have health insurance. Mars Hill College offers a health insurance plan. The insurance costs approximately $215.00 per year. Rates may increase.
  3. Students are expected to have adequate financial resources to purchase items needed on a regular basis, such as toothpaste, soap, laundry detergents, clothing, sheets, towels, and etc. The Financial Aid office estimates these expenses to be about $125.00 per month, depending on the students’ personal habits and lifestyle. Students should expect to purchase towels, sheets, pillows, a fan, clock, wastebasket, lamp, and other items to equip their residence hall rooms.

First Year’s Expenses: U.S. Immigration Officer at the port of entry will not allow the student to enter the U.S. who does not have a receipt or letter from Mars Hill College stating that payment has already been made to the college. This serves as proof for the Immigration Officer. The Immigration Officer will also require the form with the information about the student’s financial proof of support for the year including bank statements or official letters.
