Note: Candidates for middle grade licensure are required to complete one teaching concentration in the core areas of communication skills, mathematics, science, or social studies and an enhanced literacy component. If a candidate chooses two concentrations, the enhanced literacy competencies can be met through the concentrations.

A major in Mathematics, Social Studies, Communication Skills or Science will satisfy the concentrations requirements.
