Appeal Procedures

If a candidate feels that there are circumstances meriting consideration of an exception to a Teacher Education policy, discuss it with the Teacher Education Coordinator in the program of study. If the issue is not resolved, a candidate may submit an appeal in writing to the Education Department Chair, with a copy sent to the Teacher Education Coordinator. The Teacher Education Coordinator will discuss the appeal with the Education Department Chair and the candidate will be informed of the decision. If the situation is not resolved, a candidate may appeal to the Teacher Education Council.
