Appeal Procedures
If a candidate feels that there are circumstances meriting consideration of an exception to a Teacher Education policy, he/she will discuss it with the Teacher Education Coordinator in the program of study. If the issue is not resolved, a candidate may submit an appeal in writing to the Chair of Education Department, with a copy sent to the Teacher Education Coordinator. The Teacher Education Coordinator will discuss the appeal with the Chair of the Education Department and the candidate will be informed of the decision. If the situation is not resolved, a candidate may appeal to the Teacher Education Council.
