The one that's right or the one that's left. In war there can be no winner.
Those who aren't killed are left to walk the earth as the living dead.
Haunted by the ghost of men they have killed. Sleep offers no escape for the survivors. Their minds play tricks on them as it replays gruesome details over and over again. Nightmares become daymares.
They now live their life in fear
Silence is no longer a simple pleasure these soldiers have.
The screams, the pleas of young boys begging for mercy
But you tell yourself they are the enemy kill or be killed simple as that.
No right no wrong.
Just the truth.
Truth?
Yes the truth.
The truth you were spoon feed and sipped through a straw.
Pure 100 propaganda.
I mean the 10 o'clock news and your local newspaper given you the facts.
Taught to you before you learned your ABC's
I pledge Allegiance to the United States of America.
Who ever doesn't love it is gonna face death.
With liberty and justice for the rich,
Sorry to say it but fuck the rest.
Talk bad about America your a terrorist.
Strive to educate self you're labeled as strange.
Set out to free the masses YOU DISAPPEAR.
So, if you keep teaching and if you keep preaching, You might have to take a little trip.
