Internships and other learning opportunities
The department encourages students to incorporate an internship into their course of study. Internships may be paid or unpaid positions. If a student is completing an internship for academic credit, the student must complete 37.5 hours of field work for every one hour of academic credit. Departmental approval is required for all internships for which academic credit is granted. Please contact your advisor for additional information concerning proposed internships and learning outcomes.
