	Bailey Fund - Preserving the Mountain The highest peak in Mars Hill is a recognizable landmark to all MHC students, past and present. This year the college is focusing on raising $220,000 to furnish our new dorm - Bailey Mountain Hall. Ten percent of the funds raised (up to $20,000) will assist the Hoffman Foundation in its effort to preserve the mountain and save it from development. [more]
	MHC Alumni Cruise Alaska! Seems there’s nothing MHC alumni like better than sailing the seven seas, and this year was no exception. Nearly 40 Mars Hill alumni, faculty and friends spent Spring Break 2005 on a cruise in the western Caribbean. Another group of MHC alumni and friends spent a week and a half this summer on a land and sea cruise in Alaska. Plans are being made and reservations taken for the 2006 trips. [more]
	MHC’S Madison County Alumni Annual Gathering Mars Hill College’s Madison County alumni chapter invited all local alumni and friends of the college to its annual barbecue and raffle, held September 28, 2005 at the Lodge Steak and Ribs Restaurant at Scenic Wolf Mountain Resort. The raffle raises money for the Madison County Scholarship, to assist Madison County students with tuition expenses at Mars Hill College. [more]
