"Many of us recognize the magic of Mars Hill.
For some it is in the supernatural events which led to our attending
MHC. For others, it is in the acknowledgement that Mars Hill’s
place in higher education is divinely inspired. For still others, it
is in the majesty of our place, and the surreal manner in which the
clouds lay on our dear Blue Ridge Mountains.
For me, the magic of Mars Hill is in its people. I have experienced
firsthand the support and care of faculty and staff when serious health
issues entered my life. I have enjoyed meeting our volunteer leaders,
learning of their personal and professional accomplishments, and understanding
better their passion for the college. I have marveled at the character
and commitment of our alumni.
A college that stands the test of time requires good people. Mars Hill
is such a place. It is a community of good people. I encourage you to
partner with us as together we keep the magic that is Mars Hill College
alive."

"I grew up on a college campus with my parents as teachers (Wingate University), so I understand the impact that a college can have on a young person. I had a great four years at MHC, and I want as many students as possible to have that same experience. I also love coming back to MHC once or twice a year, and I enjoy seeing the changes and advancement that comes about because of the generosity of alumni and friends of the college."
