Adult and Graduate Studies
Students in the Adult and Graduate Studies program at Mars Hill University are assigned to a Financial Aid advisor that will work with you throughout your time at Mars Hill University. Please find additional financial aid informatin through the department website linked below:
Federal Aid includes the Federal Pell Grant and the Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans. To determine your eligibility you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for each academic year. The FAFSA can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov; obtain your PIN for electronic signature at www.pin.ed.gov. The school code for Mars Hill University is 002944. If you are enrolled for at least 12 hours per semester, you may be eligible for maximum benefits. The amount of the Federal Pell Grant is dependent upon the number of hours for which you are enrolled each semester. To qualify for a Federal Stafford Loan, you must be enrolled for at least 6 hours per semester.
Adult and Graduate Studies students have the opportunity to apply for several scholarships dedicated specifically for adult learners to continue their education.

Alpha Sigma Lambda Scholarship
Alpha Sigma Lambda (an honor society that includes Mars Hill University AGS students—our chapter is Mu Kappa Lambda) is pleased to announce that for the 2014-15 academic year, it will grant a total of ten $2200 scholarships.

Applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2014. In order to have Mars Hill University Adult and Graduate Studies office personell complete the required portion before the April 30th, deadline, please turn packet into AGS By April 15th, 2014.
Golden Leaf Scholarship
Funding is available for transferring Community College students and entering Freshmen; from qualifying counties who demonstrate financial need and will enter Fall 2014 to a participating campus. Full program details and application are available at www.CFNC.org/goldenleaf. The application deadline is March 1, 2014. Applicants must also submit a 2014-15 FAFSA by that date.
