Summer Orientation, Advising, & Registration (SOAR)
Welcome to the next step towards your matriculation, our Summer Orientation, Advisement, and Registration (SOAR) program. Attending this one-day event will prepare you for fall 2008 in many ways.
On your selected SOAR date you will:
- take necessary placement tests
- meet with your academic advisor
- register for fall classes
- get your student ID
- register your vehicle
- finalize paperwork in admissions, financial aid, and the campus medical center
Current students have found that the transition to college and their first few days on campus in August are much more fun and relaxed having taken care of these details during the summer.
