Mars Hill College offers admission to all qualified students. Early submission of an application for admission is encouraged to ensure scholarship eligibility and a seat in the upcoming class. Each applicant is evaluated on an individual basis by the Admissions Staff.

The information needed for an admissions decision is listed below. A personal essay or graded Senior English essay is recommended and all applicants are strongly encouraged to schedule a campus visit. Applicants are notified of an admissions decision within 48 hours of a completed application file.

If you wish to apply for admission as a freshman, please submit the following information to the Admissions Office:

• A completed Mars Hill College Application for Admission (available online)
• $25 non-refundable application fee
• Official high school transcripts (transcript request form available online in PDF format)
• SAT or ACT scores
• Personal essay or graded Senior English essay (optional)
• Campus visit is strongly recommended

If you wish to apply for admission as a transfer student, please submit the following information to the Admissions Office:

• A completed Mars Hill College Application for Admission (available online)
• $25 Non refundable application fee
• Official high school transcripts (transcript request form available online)
• Official college transcripts from all previous institutions attended
• Personal essay (optional)
• Campus visit is strongly recommended
