Quality Enhancement Plan:
Write-Learn-Know

Mars Hill College is embarking on a new curricular project that is sure to inject an added element of vitality into our college community, especially for students and faculty who participate in our new writing program, Write-Learn-Know. Making connections between thinking and writing more visible in classes across campus, Write-Learn-Know will help to expand content knowledge in the classroom by placing a stronger emphasis on writing (and on “writing to learn”) in the disciplines. Specially trained peer tutors, or Writing Fellows, will provide writing support for students in all writing-intensive classes. The benefits of our new writing program are numerous: increased understanding of subject matter, strengthened writing ability, and stronger engagement for both students and faculty in the classroom. Watch for ongoing updates to our Write-Learn-Know program!
